Tonight I helped my netball team by letting them use my phone to call their parents because our practice was cancelled. They were happy because it was really cold and wet.

Today my good deed was to help my mum by cleaning the driveway after she had cut away some of the bushes. It made me feel happy because she was tired and glad that she didn't have to do all the work.

Today I helped my sister by making her breakfast in bed. She was happy because she was sick and wanted to stay in her room.

Today I helped my mum by making the breakfasts and my lunch for my tournament. She was happy because she didn't have to.

Today I Watched all of my Sisters netball games. She was happy because I don't normally watch them.

Today I helped my Uncle by going down to the Dairy because he needed a top-up card for his phone. He was happy because he didn't have to go to the Dairy.

Today my good deed was to make my bed and my sister's after we got up. Mikyla and Mum were very happy because it saved them time.

Today my good deed was to help my mum by bringing in all the shopping and to pack it all away. Mum was very grateful and she said thank-you.

Last night I helped my sister by taking her bag because she has a sore ankle. She was very happy and thanked me. It made me feel good because I normally don't help my sister.

Tonight my Uncle came over and he brought his dog Lucy. He was tired so I took Lucy for a walk. He was very glad because he was tired and he didn't have to take her out.

Today I watched my sister play 4 games of netball. It made me feel good because I think Mikyla appreciated it.

Tonight I helped a little boy because I was at lazer-strike and he didn't know how to use his lazer. It made me feel good because helping others is fun.

Today after dinner I helped my mum by doing the dishes because there were too many to fit into the dishwasher. It made me feel good because I was helping someone.

Today I helped my mum by getting in all the washing and folding it all. It made me feel happy because my mum looked tired.

While I was at netball, a girl in my team called Malia fell and cut her knee. I help her get plasters and ice. It made me feel good because it was nice to help.

Today while my mum and I were in the Super market we were going through the check-out. The lady thought she had scanned a bag of cheese but she hadn't. I told her and she was very grateful. It made me feel good because I like being honest.

Today I helped my mum with the dinner by stirring and cooking it. I felt happy because it was nice to help someone.Also because my mum does a lot of stuff for me. I think it is a good start towards my 17 days.

Room 10 are trying to make a difference in the community we live in. For 17 days we are going to do something helpful for other people. Each day we will record down what we have done and how that person has felt when we did something for them. We are doing this because we believe you should help others out without expecting anything in return.
